Fire Point says its long-range FP-9 ballistic missile (on the right) is in the flight-testing phase. Developers say testing is complicated by its range and a minimum ballistic flight distance after which the missile can no longer be stopped by software. Because Ukraine lacks enough territory for a full test, the company says the next military-testing phase could transition directly into launches against Russian targets.
