❗️The EU has reached a compromise to extend sanctions against Russia until 2029 while removing Russian billionaires Alisher Usmanov and Mikhail Fridman from the sanctions list, according to the Irish EU Council presidency. A Suspilne source says Slovakia, France and Luxembourg, which supported removing the two men, did not coordinate the move with Ukraine. The restrictions cover around 3,000 people and entities.
