Ukraine’s Logika design bureau unveiled “Chaharnyk,” an engineering barrier designed to counter fiber-optic FPV drones. The 100-meter structure, up to 80 cm high, uses a moving element to catch and sever a passing drone’s fiber-optic cable, causing the operator to lose the connection. It does not operate continuously and can be activated remotely by an operator or automatically after an acoustic sensor detects a drone, with a stated detection range starting at 15 meters.
