Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed that Defense Forces struck the Ilsky Oil Refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar Krai overnight on September 26. A fire was recorded at the facility. The refinery has annual processing capacity of about 6.6 million tons of oil and handles the reception, storage and processing of hydrocarbons. According to the General Staff, its petroleum products are used in part to supply the Russian military.
