Russian mobile air defense groups may be using Chinese QW-18/19 MANPADS, Militarnyi reports. Russian TV footage showed an unmarked system during exercises involving a mobile fire group of Russia’s 51st Air Defense Division in Rostov region. Analysis found similarities with China’s QW-18A/QW-19 and Iran’s Misagh-3, but the Chinese systems were considered a closer visual match.
