Explosions were reported overnight in Volgograd, with a fire observed near Lukoil’s Volgograd Oil Refinery. The facility is one of Russia’s largest refineries, processing roughly 14.5-15.7 million tonnes of crude annually, or around 300,000 barrels per day. It produces gasoline, diesel, aviation kerosene and other petroleum products.
