Dutch MEP Reinier van Lanschot called for stronger European action in support of Ukraine. “If we stop being afraid to act, we can respond on our terms,” he said, proposing protection of European skies, a drone wall, an end to Russian gas purchases, the transfer of frozen Russian assets to Ukraine and a no-fly zone over western Ukraine. “Ukraine is helping us, but we don’t say thank you enough,” he added.
