Ukraine’s robotic gun turrets have already downed Russian jet-powered UAVs, including the Geran-5, according to Air Force spokesperson Yurii Ihnat. He said the systems use machine vision and artificial intelligence, allowing the turrets to engage fast jet-powered drones while reducing human error and improving technical calculations. Ihnat added that robotic turrets are now also being installed to protect bridges.
