South Korea expects apologies from Ukraine regarding disclosure of the transfer of two North Korean prisoners of war, but shouldn't the apology be made the other way around? More than 176,000 tonnes of fuel, mostly diesel, was shipped from South Korean ports to Russia in July and August, according to Guardian analysis of port and ship-tracking data. Seven tankers made 14 voyages to Russia’s Far East, including three vessels under UK and EU sanctions. In August alone, South Korea supplied 112,000 tonnes, or 31%, of Russia’s seaborne oil-product imports. The shipments do not appear to violate South Korean law, the Guardian reported.
