Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed that Ukrainian Defense Forces struck the Omsk Oil Refinery on October 8, more than 2,500 km from Ukraine. The General Staff says it is Russia’s most powerful refinery, capable of processing over 21 million tonnes of oil annually, and supports the Russian occupation army. Ukraine previously struck the refinery on July 6, hitting its ELOU-AVT-11 primary processing unit, rated at 8.4 million tonnes per year.
