Zelensky says Ukrainian forces continue an active defense and are gradually pushing Russian troops back, with Russian losses increasing in recent months. In the Dobropillia area alone, he said Russia is losing around 200 troops killed every day, alongside many badly wounded. Zelensky said Ukrainian frontline positions are the strongest they have been in a long time, despite Russian forces outnumbering Ukrainian troops six to eight times in some areas.
