KIIS polling conducted September 12-21 shows 79% of Ukrainians believe Ukraine will ultimately win the war, while 7% think Russia will. 75% are open to negotiations with Russia, though KIIS stresses this question concerned talks themselves, not concessions. On possible outcomes, 41% see preserving Ukrainian statehood and independence with forced territorial losses as the most realistic scenario, while 53% chose scenarios involving liberation of at least some occupied territories. 69% would support an immediate ceasefire along the current front line if occupied territories are not legally recognized as Russian, Ukraine keeps strengthening its army, and continues moving toward the EU and NATO. 62% say they are ready to endure the war for as long as necessary.
