Russia is reinforcing occupied Crimea against possible Ukrainian landings, Ukrainian Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk stated. Pletenchuk said Russian forces are strengthening areas vulnerable to amphibious operations because they view such scenarios as a real threat. He added that naval landings remain an important part of modern warfare and Ukrainian marines continue training for them.
