❗️The UK is considering selling 98,000 tons of Russian crude seized from the shadow tanker Smyrtos to fund Ukraine, The Telegraph reported. The cargo is valued at about £35m after Royal Marines stopped the vessel in the Channel on June 14. Officials believe the oil now legally belongs to the UK and could be auctioned, with proceeds sent to Kyiv or used to fund frontline equipment.
