A massive gas explosion was reported in the municipality of Tepeaca, located in the central Mexican state of Puebla, triggering a large-scale emergency response and sending thick smoke high into the sky.The blast, possibly linked to illegally sourced fuel, produced a large fire column visible from kilometers away and prompted the preventive evacuation of around 1,700–2,000 people, including over 1,000 students from nearby schools and a hospital.
