Russia has equipped its LNG tanker Marshal Vasilevsky with 12.7 mm Utyos heavy machine guns, according to newly published images showing at least two firing positions on either side of the bridge. The vessel is Russia’s only floating LNG regasification unit and plays a key role in supplying Kaliningrad with gas via the Baltic Sea.
