Satellite imagery from June 7 showed damage at the Elastik powder plant in Russia’s Ryazan region after a June 4 strike reported by Ukraine’s General Staff. One workshop hall appeared destroyed from inside and quickly covered with a new roof, while two cranes were recorded working at the impact site.
Russia built at least seven new Pantsir air-defense towers east of Moscow since May 20, Radio Svoboda analysis of Sentinel and Planet.com satellite images showed. Russia’s Afipsky oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai burned again after a drone strike, its second reported hit in 2026. Authorities blamed drone debris. The plant processes around 6.25 million tons of oil per year and supplies diesel to the Russian military.
