Russian junior lieutenant Oleksandr Batotsyrenov was killed on Feb. 4 near Novohryhorivka in Zaporizhzhia region during Ukrainian fire preparation before an offensive in the Oleksandrivka direction. A Ukrainian strike damaged two vertical stabilization columns at the Neftegorsk refinery, key equipment used to remove light fractions from oil and prepare it for transport, according to Exilenova+ satellite images. Damage to such units can disrupt the production cycle. The fire has been localized but firefighting continues, with smoke and emergency crews still present.
