Developed by Global Mark, the autonomous low-visibility system is designed for strike missions, cargo delivery and interception of other unmanned underwater vehicles. It can carry a 1,000 kg payload, travel up to 2,000 miles and operate at depths of 60 meters.
Ukraine’s state defense industry unveiled the new UAV-290 strike drone at Eurosatory 2026. The turbojet-powered system is designed for autonomous attacks on fixed ground targets, carries a 100 kg warhead and has a range of up to 650 km. The drone reaches speeds of 800 km/h and launches from a ground-based platform using a solid-fuel booster.

Ukraine’s Air Force says a Shahed drone hit the Dormition Cathedral at Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra.
