Ukrainian drones attacked the Ilsky oil refinery in Russia’s Krasnodar region overnight. Local residents reported a fire at the facility. The refinery has an annual processing capacity of 6.6 million tons of fuel.
Ukraine struck the Kurgannefteprodukt marine terminal at Taganrog port. A fire broke out at the facility, which transships petroleum products and loads them onto seagoing vessels.
An oil depot in Azov, Russia’s Rostov region, was struck during a drone attack, setting two fuel storage facilities on fire, according to local authorities.
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said Moscow will no longer trust the West’s stated willingness to negotiate. He claimed that the remaining goodwill and expectations for better relations have been fully exhausted.
Ukrainian air defenses downed or suppressed 114 of 137 Russian drones overnight, including Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, Banderol, and Parodiya types. Eighteen strike drones hit 16 locations, while debris fell at 4 locations. Several drones remained in the air.
