🇬🇷 #Greece. Three people were killed when a private helicopter crashed on the Greek island of Sifnos (Cyclades) shortly after 6 p.m. local time on Monday, Aug. 17. The dead are the pilot and two passengers. The aircraft went down in the Tholos neighborhood near homes and burst into flames, sparking a brush fire.According to unconfirmed local reports, those on board were a newly-married British couple and the Greek pilot; the helicopter had reportedly taken off from a helipad in eastern Attica bound for Sifnos and crashed shortly after departure.
