🇺🇸 A major rockslide occurred near Bridal Veil Falls in Provo Canyon, #Utah, burying a section of the Provo River Trail. Heavy rainfall in Utah County contributed to the slope instability, adding weight and reducing friction. Large boulders & debris crashed down onto the paved trail and park area, damaging trees and utility infrastructure. No injuries have been reported. The Utah County Sheriff's Office closed the trail and park area as rocks continued to fall & crews will clear the debris before the route reopens. Its just rocks.
