A dispute inside Czech leadership over military aid to Ukraine has escalated after Defense Minister Jaromir Zuna canceled a planned U.S. trip by Chief of the General Staff Karel Rehka. The move followed Rehka publicly contradicting the government’s claim that the army opposed transferring four L-159 aircraft to Ukraine. Rehka said handing over the jets would not undermine Czech defense or training and cited written assessments previously given to the Fiala cabinet.
