U.S. Central Command said it has urged Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps to avoid any unsafe or destabilizing behavior during a planned two-day live-fire naval exercise in the Strait of Hormuz. According to CENTCOM, the drills are set to begin on Sunday. The command said it expects the exercise to be conducted in a safe and professional manner and warned against unnecessary risks to freedom of navigation in the international waterway.
