Ukraine's General Staff confirmed strikes on the Ilsky refinery in Krasnodar Krai and the Syzran refinery in Samara Oblast overnight on August 8. Hits were recorded at both facilities, followed by fires. Ilsky has about 6.6 million tons of annual processing capacity, while Syzran has about 8.5 million. The General Staff says both supply fuel for Russian military needs. A Russian technical surveillance post on the Sivash drilling platform was also struck.
