Zelensky dismissed Volodymyr Karpenko as commander of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ Logistics Forces and appointed Yurii Pohribnyi to replace him. The two presidential decrees were signed on August 17. Karpenko was reportedly a close ally of former Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi.
