Ukraine's new Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara set three equal priorities: the front, human capital and defense industry. He said the military must regain strategic initiative on land, at sea, in the air and in the information space, while procurement should serve frontline needs with less bureaucracy. Khmara also highlighted deep and middle strikes, more Ukrainian weapons, and work with allies to protect Ukraine from Russian ballistic missiles. He said procurement must work exclusively for the front and Ukraine's defense, and that the supply system will be adapted to the pace of the war. Khmara said Ukrainian weapons will increase and strikes will become more precise.
