Ukraine's Special Operations Forces say they successfully struck oil infrastructure at the Makhachkala Commercial Sea Port on the Caspian coast overnight into September 10. The port's oil harbor services tankers with capacities of up to 10,000 tonnes, with an oil depot located nearby. The port is Russia's only ice-free deep-water Caspian port and forms part of the North-South transport corridor linking Russia with Iran, India and other South Asian countries.
