Ukraine’s 425th Skelia Regiment broke through Russian positions to reach and extract troops of the 159th Brigade who had been encircled, some after spending up to 11 months on their positions. The regiment said its assault troops cleared a route through Russian positions and brought out 21 Ukrainian servicemen without suffering losses during the operation. Two civilians were also evacuated from the area, while Ukrainian troops captured nine Russian servicemen.
