France is strengthening Ukraine’s air defenses with a contract to supply radars and interceptor missiles, President Emmanuel Macron says. Zelensky says Ukraine is also ready to secure additional SAMP/T systems and missiles through EU loan financing. Kyiv and Paris are working toward producing SAMP/T systems and missiles in Ukraine and advancing the joint FREYJA anti-ballistic program, with Zelensky saying the first results are expected this year. Macron also backed an energy truce and Black Sea moratorium.
