Marine Le Pen said she would halt French financial assistance to Ukraine if she wins the 2027 presidential election. “We can no longer provide financial assistance to Ukraine, and we regret that,” she told POLITICO. However, Le Pen said France could continue training Ukrainian soldiers and military leadership and providing military aid. She also said she could support a postwar peacekeeping force in Ukraine if such a deployment became one of the conditions for negotiating a ceasefire.
