Ukraine’s 3rd Assault Brigade turned two Soviet BTRs into unmanned kamikaze vehicles for Operation Vivaldi near Nove and Katerynivka on the Lyman axis. According to the 3rd Army Corps, the vehicles were packed with explosives and sent behind Russian lines. Russian troops initially mistook them for reinforcements before the robotic BTRs detonated against some of their strongest fortifications, also destroying a communications and command node.
