Russia launched its first "trial" mechanized assault on the Huliaipole axis using several armored vehicles and ATVs, according to Ukraine’s 7th Air Assault Corps. Ukrainian forces stopped the attack near Zaliznychne and Hirke, destroying equipment and personnel. The corps says Russia is accumulating armored and other heavy equipment for further attacks. In September, it reported over 3,000 Russian troops killed or wounded on this axis.
