Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed damage from earlier strikes on two Russian energy facilities. The October 2 strike on the Samara oil station damaged 14 storage tanks, pipelines and an automated loading station. At the Astrakhan gas processing plant, struck on October 4, two gas purification units, U-172 and U-272, and the U-1731 secondary distillation unit were damaged. Ukraine says both facilities support the Russian military.
