Ukraine needs specialized units to locate and destroy Russian drone crews, Defense Minister Yevhen Khmara says. He said Ukraine already has hundreds of large-caliber turrets for countering jet-powered UAVs and is developing longer-range versions. In September and early October, Ukrainian forces also targeted 8 Russian ballistic missile launchers, destroying 3 and damaging 5. Ukraine is also expanding production of jet engines for its own systems.
