❗️Russia’s war in Ukraine significantly reshaped NATO’s defence technology priorities, NATO Innovation Fund President Ari Jonsson told Reuters. The €1 billion fund, backed by 24 NATO countries, identified technologies to detect, track and neutralise drones, along with space-based intelligence and reconnaissance, as pressing capability needs on NATO’s eastern flank. The fund also expanded into Poland, establishing a presence in Warsaw to identify and accelerate promising defence technologies.
