Ukrainian soldier Kostiantyn Vlasenko of the 30th Brigade was evacuated from the Kupiansk axis by a Heavy Shot “Ayudag-6” hexacopter after Russian drone activity made a conventional rescue too dangerous. The 49-year-old soldier had suffered severe leg injuries and spent months at the position while supplies and medicine were delivered by drone.The evacuation flight lasted more than an hour and covered 62 km. Several Ukrainian units were involved, with electronic warfare cover, aerial protection, diversionary UAV maneuvers and simultaneous fire against Russian forces. A Gurzuf Defence representative described the mission as the first evacuation of a person by a drone in the war.
