Ukraine’s 26th Artillery Brigade showed the process of replacing the barrel on a Polish Krab self-propelled howitzer. Manufacturers rate the barrel for around 1,500 rounds, while Ukrainian reports say Krab barrels often reach 3,000-4,500+ rounds in combat. Some artillery systems have reportedly reached 6,000-7,000 rounds on one barrel, though accuracy and range fall sharply as wear increases.
