Residents evacuated from Russian-occupied Oleshky have now reached Ukrainian-controlled territory. Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets says the oldest evacuee is 94 and the youngest just over one year old. One family had been trapped in a heavily damaged apartment building because the father could not descend from the eighth floor after the stairs were destroyed. Another man survived 16 Russian drone attacks and four missile strikes on his home. Their pets were evacuated too.
