Ukrainian troops told Sky News that Russia used the humanitarian evacuation around Oleshky to support military operations. They say Russian forces moved heavy equipment, weapons, ammunition, personnel and supplies into Oleshky and nearby villages, searched homes for basements that could be used as new positions and reoccupied previously lost positions. The troops also alleged that bodies of civilians killed by shelling and mines were removed from the local morgue.
