President Zelensky says Germany is preparing a winter support package for Ukraine following talks with Chancellor Friedrich Merz. The two discussed further air-defense assistance, including PAC-2, PAC-3 and IRIS-T missiles, as well as a new package to support Ukraine’s F-16 fleet. Zelensky said German assistance remains critical as Russia continues daily attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, cities and villages.
