🇺🇸 Albany, #NewYork. An ambulance patient was tased inside an ambulance by police after he allegedly tried to charge at them with a knife. This was outside Albany Med on Thursday.36-year-old Kyle A. Seymour overstayed his hotel checkout time with a medical issue. EMS transported him to a hospital; he pulled a concealed knife, threatening people. Police deployed tasers, which initially failed. ——Seymour re-entered the ambulance, stabbing himself. Police tasered him again; he dropped the knife and was subdued. Seymour received medical aid, was arrested, and taken to Albany Medical Center for critical but stable self-inflicted chest and abdomen wounds.
