🇯🇵 Protest against mosque construction in Fujisawa (Greater #Tokyo area). This has been going on since April.2-story mosque is scheduled for construction in the Miyahara district of Fujisawa — building's height would exceed a nearby historic Shinto shrine. Locals submitted over 2,500 formal complaints & gathered 30,000 signatures on an online petition. There are an estimated 25,000 Muslims living across Kanagawa Prefecture.Fujisawa City Council rejected all petitions & found NO "legal ground" to block the construction.Follow us -> LiveLeak
