❗️🇫🇷 A warning about the flood of “BREAKING NEWS” coming out of France right now: check the dates before believing what you see.France is genuinely experiencing major unrest, but numerous large accounts on X are recycling years-old footage and presenting it as if it happened today. One viral video showing overturned cars in Paris is from December 2022. The same footage has already been falsely recycled during multiple unrelated waves of unrest in France — and now it is being used again.Another viral clip claiming that 7,000 soldiers are being deployed because of the current unrest is actually from October 2023.And footage being shared today as protesters “taking over the Paris Stock Exchange” was filmed back in April 2023 during protests against Macron’s pension reform. We have now encountered several examples like this in just a couple of days. There is plenty of real footage coming out of France right now. There is absolutely no reason to recycle old videos and label them “BREAKING.”Follow main channel -> LiveLeak Follow private channel -> LiveLeak Private
