Demonstrators are demanding the prime minister’s resignation, lower tuition fees and action against corruption. In Tirana, protesters attempted to storm the Ministry of Education, set fire to rubbish bins and erected barricades. Rama accused the opposition of orchestrating the violence and refused to resign.
