Fire Point unveiled the Freya Pan-European anti-ballistic air defense concept, built around the FP-7 interceptor with a claimed speed of 1,500-2,000 m/s. The missile is designed from composite materials and uses a semi-active Image Infra-Red seeker to be developed with Germany’s Diehl Defence. Freya is planned for Link-16 integration, with a target interception cost below $1M and a first intercept by end-2027.
