❗️Euractiv says the European Commission plans to propose opening Ukraine’s first EU accession negotiation cluster on June 16 at a General Affairs Council meeting in Brussels. EU leaders could then approve the step at the European Council two days later. The remaining negotiation clusters for Ukraine and Moldova are expected to open in July, with unanimity from all 27 member states required at each stage.
