Ukraine’s Defense Ministry said analysis of downed Russian Kalibr missiles found two major design changes. Missiles shot down this spring carried cluster warheads similar to those used on Kh-101s, aimed at dispersed targets such as aircraft, hangars and open positions. Engineers also found seeker boards again made up of 80-90% foreign components after Russia’s shift to domestic electronics reportedly reduced accuracy.
