Defense Minister Fedorov said Sweden is becoming Europe’s third-largest supporter of Ukraine, with $9 billion already provided and another $4 billion in military aid due this year. Sweden will also donate 16 Gripen C/D fighters in early 2027, while newer Gripen E aircraft will arrive in later years through EU credit financing with UK support. The C/D jets can carry Meteor missiles.
