Turkey's Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan suggested Russia could resort to nuclear weapons if battlefield and domestic exhaustion turned into what Moscow viewed as an existential crisis. "Whatever final option you have in your hands, this time you will use it," he said. Fidan added that the issue came up during his visit to Russia and claimed public pressure there is already pushing in that direction. He said Turkey also raised the concern with Western partners.
